Hannity Headlines Defend Marriage and Family Conference

MESA, AZ – Popular television and radio talk show host Sean Hannity, co-host of the nightly “Hannity & Colmes” television program, is coming to Mesa, AZ Nov. 21-22 to headline The Defend Marriage and Family Conference. United Families International (UFI), a U.N.-accredited, international organization devoted to strengthening the family, is hosting the conference, in association with other pro-family organizations.

UFI president Sharon Slater said, “Marriage, the glue that cements the family together is in peril; under attack from numerous sources. We are launching a campaign to preserve and defend marriage as an essential government-sanctioned foundation for families.”

The theme of the conference is, “As marriage goes, so go the children, so goes the nation, so goes the world.” At the conference, entertainers, celebrities, sports figures, politicians and community leaders will publicly launch the Defend Marriage and Family Campaign, a national effort to define marriage as a relationship between a man and a woman. Renowned experts on marriage and family issues will deliver addresses to educate attendees from across the United States and equip them with the information necessary to defend marriage in their respective states.

The Defend Marriage and Family Conference is an official World Congress of Families USA event. The venue for the conference is Centennial Hall in Mesa. Registration for the conference will begin at 7 a.m. with the conference starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. United Families International will announce further details, including the full list of participants, speakers and entertainers, at a later date.
