Attend the United Families Arizona Presentation
Of Nationally-Renowned Family Expert
Jennifer Roback Morse!

Please plan now to attend the June 16 address on the defense of marriage by Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse. United Families Arizona is sponsoring Dr. Morse, a nationally prominent author, Townhall.com columnist and lecturer, at Mesa Centennial Hall, beginning at 7 p.m.

We are nearing the close of an effort of more than a year to qualify a marriage amendment initiative for the fall ballot. Dr. Morse will help us drive home the points of just why this amendment is so badly needed to preserve marriage in our state. UFA is a member of the Protect Marriage Arizona coalition sponsoring the proposed amendment that recognizes marriage as between one man and one woman. We dare not leave this important issue up to the whims of courts. Our battle cry for this past year has been "let the people decide." And that's what the registered voters of Arizona will be able to do in the November election.

Dr. Morse is a nationally acclaimed writer and lecturer on the family and the free society. She advocates victory - not appeasement - in the culture wars. Dr. Morse received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Rochester in 1980, served as a Research Fellow for Stanford University's Hoover Institution from 1997-2005 and taught economics at Yale University and George Mason University.

Her first book, Love and Economics: Why the Laissez-Faire Family Doesn't Work, explains why the family is the necessary building block for a free society and why many modern attempted substitutes for the family do not work. Her second book, Smart Sex: Finding Life-Long Love in a Hook-Up World, exposes the sexual revolution's fraudulent promise of freedom and points the way to the most thrilling adventure of all -- life-long love. Dr. Morse's columns appear weekly at Town Hall.com. She has appeared on numerous talk radio shows nationwide and is a regular columnist for the National Catholic Register. Her public policy articles have appeared in Policy Review, the American Enterprise, Fortune, Reason, the Wall Street Journal, Vital Speeches and Religion and Liberty.

Currently a Research Fellow at the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty, Dr. Morse lives in California and pursues her primary vocation as wife and mother. She and her husband are the parents of an adopted child, a birth child and two foster children. To learn more about Dr. Morse, please visit her Web site: http://www.jennifer-roback-morse.com/. UFA is the state chapter of United Families International, an organization dedicated to preserving the family.

The address will take place at Mesa Centennial Hall, 263 N. Center Street Mesa, Arizona. Please spread this message to family members, friends and neighbors. We look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

Carol Soelberg
