Today, the Protect Marriage Arizona campaign turned in
307,576 signatures of Arizona citizens in support of defining
marriage as the union of one man and one woman,
123,600 more than the number required by law.

Did you know that...

• an unprecedented number of at least 200,000 of those signatures were collected by volunteers, a percentage never before achieved in Arizona?
• a large percentage of those volunteer signatures came from United Families Arizona volunteers?
• on May 3, 2006 (about one year from the time we started collecting signatures) we only had approximately 153,600 signatures, and in the last 8 weeks we have collected 153,900?
