Call Your Legislators Today to Support Arizona Marriage Referendum

Dear Friends of the Family,

State lawmakers are deliberating over the fate of the proposed Arizona Marriage Referendum. They are hearing from many opponents of marriage, and now they need to hear from you. If the legislature moves the referendum onto the November election ballot, citizens will have the opportunity to amend the state constitution to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

HCR 2065 / SCR 1038 – Marriage Referendum proposes to place a measure on the November general election ballot amending the state constitution to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman. The referendum has passed out of the House Judiciary Committee, 6-3, and advanced to the Houses Rules Committee; was assigned to the Senate Public Safety & Human Services Committee and the Senate Rules Committee. There are some hurdles ahead, but working together we can make sure Arizona joins 27 other states which have already amended their constitutions to protect marriage.
