Protect against Title IX and submit a comment by September 12, 2022.

The US Department of Education released their proposed changes to Title IX regulations that would dramatically change the future for women and girls in federally funded activities and programs. There are many negative impacts that will harm girls, women, and families.

A government portal has been set up for you to make a comment submission.  It is very straight-forward and easy to do.  In addition, this governmental body is required to read every submission, large and small – before they can finalize the new “Rule.”  So rest assured, your input will be read and considered.

International Voice for Youth – IVY

ABOUT IVY

International Voice for Youth gives college students

– training

– experience

– networking opportunities

to become an effective advocate for the family.

If selected for the program you will join with other college students to receive advocacy training and discover how you can make your voice heard.  Often this entails attending meetings where you will better recognize threats to the familiy and gain experience communicating, civilly, with others about the importance of family, marriage, life, parental rights and religious freedom.

Goals

Realize there are other young adults that share similar beliefs and values.

Learn how to effectively advocate for family-related issues, both politically and culturally.

Learn the magnitude of the challenges and how you can effect change.

Walk away with experiences that will change your life and the practical knowledge to ensure your efforts will matter!

Make a difference

What happens after the program?

United Families International has numerous opportunities, within our organization, for volunteers to continue to develop their advocacy skills and to engage in pro-family and pro-life work at the state, federal and international levels.  You will also be better prepared to seek other opportunities to impact the policy world in all of its many venues.

This is what others have said about their experience:

I had the opportunity to learn why others feel so differently than I do, and help others consider how family strengthens society.

I never imagined having the opportunity to attend the United Nations and see how it worked, let alone, having the opportunity to speak in UN meetings.  Amazing!

I had heard it might be life changing, and it was.  Now, I feel the need to help others understand.

I enjoyed engaging with other students and learning from their experiences and their advocacy knowledge.  Lots of new friends!

I am grateful for the work United Families is doing through their International Voice for Youth Program.  It will be an experience I will always remember.
