It’s that time of year again. The UN’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is in session now until March 25th. CSW is inundated with liberal voices pushing for unfettered abortion, comprehensive sexual education, and working women. Current UN documents suggest that motherhood is not needed and that children are a burden to women. Few voices protect life, motherhood, and a woman’s right to stay home and raise her children.
United Families International has a group of women on site working to keep the world a family friendly place. They have studied and prepared to present facts and help conservative delegates with the language that will be added to UN documents arising from CSW 2017.
Everyone who cares about life, family, and motherhood can help. Angela Fallentine, UFI’s UN Correspondent has asked people to flood social media with articles, blog posts, quotes, memes, or just your own thoughts about motherhood. Use the hashtags #CSW61 #MomStory #LetMomsSpeak #EmpowerMothers. Everyone can let the UN know that we think mothers and motherhood are indeed important and that children are not a burden to women.
