From the Desk of Tori Black:
For the beauty of the earth,
For the beauty of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies,
For the beauty of each hour
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale, and tree and flow’r,
Sun and moon, and stars of light,
For the joy of human love,
Brother, sister, parent, child,
Friends on earth, and friends above,
For all gentle thoughts and mild,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.
Hello Friends,
I have been on the road for the last three weeks. I saw new places and learned a lot, but no matter where I went, I was thinking of families: my own, my friends’, and those I don’t know, but of which I am mindful. I think of you and your joys and sorrows, challenges and triumphs. How grateful I am for your steadfast defense of marriage and the family as central to our lives and happiness, both as individuals and as communities.
This week we celebrate Thanksgiving – a day to pause with family and friends and acknowledge the gifts that God has given us. At United Families International, we are thankful for the gift of family and for the gift of community with you. Wishing you a blessed holiday.
