Protect against Title IX and submit a comment by September 12, 2022.

The US Department of Education released their proposed changes to Title IX regulations that would dramatically change the future for women and girls in federally funded activities and programs. There are many negative impacts that will harm girls, women, and families.

A government portal has been set up for you to make a comment submission.  It is very straight-forward and easy to do.  In addition, this governmental body is required to read every submission, large and small – before they can finalize the new “Rule.”  So rest assured, your input will be read and considered.

freedom-of-speechYesterday the Senate passed the LGBT hate crime bill we encouraged you to oppose earlier this week.

The bill, The Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, will extend the federal definition of hate crimes to include crimes committed based on sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability and provide the federal  government power to intercede when they believe states are not properly pursuing hate crime prosecution.  Pres. Obama has already promised to sign the bill as soon as it reaches his desk.

The bill was attached a larger defense authorization measure that outlines a $689 billion budget for the Petagon, including $130 billion for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Senate passed it 68 to 29.

It appears we will have to fight even harder to protect our freedom of speech and stop the steady progression of the homosexual agenda.
