Protect against Title IX and submit a comment by September 12, 2022.

The US Department of Education released their proposed changes to Title IX regulations that would dramatically change the future for women and girls in federally funded activities and programs. There are many negative impacts that will harm girls, women, and families.

A government portal has been set up for you to make a comment submission.  It is very straight-forward and easy to do.  In addition, this governmental body is required to read every submission, large and small – before they can finalize the new “Rule.”  So rest assured, your input will be read and considered.

In May, the New York Times ran an article entitled “Church Counsels Women Addicted to Pornography.”  The author of the article barely made an effort to conceal his disdain for churches in general or for their efforts to counsel and help women addicted to pornography.  But he did accurately report the fact that there is an increase in the percentage of women addicted to porn and that churches are now much more involved in addiction recovery.

We’ve compiled a small list of links to various church websites that offer help for women addicted to pornography:

We also want to draw your attention to the recently released Witherspoon Institute’s report “The Social Costs of Pornography.”

According to the National Catholic Register:

“The report summarizes the findings of numerous studies that confirm the potency and pervasiveness of Internet-supplied pornography on demand. In a dramatic departure from past pornography use, adult movies, online images and interactive videos are available in hotel rooms, homes, offices and public libraries, as well as on cell phones, personal laptops and office computers. Pornography use has been linked to sexual violence against women and children, marriage breakups and altered neurological patterns in the brains of addicts.”

This report is an invaluable resource in understanding what happens to a society that gives into pornography and gives rebuttal to the myth that pornography harms no one.
