Wendy Wixom
Before her appointment as President of United Families International (UFI), Wendy served as the United Nations Policy and Projects Coordinator for the International Organization for the Family. In these roles, she has traveled the world collaborating with UN Ambassadors, delegates, and civic and religious leaders to advocate for the family unit. Under her leadership, UFI defends policies that protect marriage, life, parental rights, and religious freedom at every level of government, with a primary focus on international policy at the UN.
While Wendy enjoys working with all age groups, she is especially passionate about mentoring university students. She finds great fulfillment in equipping the next generation of family advocates through UFI’s internships and resources. Wendy believes that strengthening the family is the foundation for a flourishing society—one that leads to safer communities, increased educational attainment, and a significant decrease in poverty.
On a personal note, Wendy and her husband, Brad, are the parents of five married children and are fully embracing the "grandparent stage" of life. Whether she is spending time with her family or traveling to experience the beauty of diverse cultures and landscapes, Wendy remains deeply committed to the people and principles that make the world a better place.
